For Sellers

Listing is Free! You only get charged when you make money

1. Create an Account

2. Connect your paypal or bank account to receive payment. You may need to update your Paypal account to a business account. (Don't worry, this is easy to do and free with no extra fees. For name of business just put in your name)

3. Pick a Category

4. Enter Details (Make this as DETAILED as possible)

5. Upload Photos (High quality!!)

6. Post your hidden treasures for the world to see

7. Approve any purchase by a Buyer

Here’s an example of how financial transaction works without tax on Paypal:

1. Buyer pays item price ($30).

Seller total is at $30.00.

2. PayPal fees are deducted – 2.9% of the total price ($30*0.029) + $.30c.

$1.17 is deducted.

Seller total is now at $28.83 and received in seller’s PayPal

3. Great Desi Deals fees are deducted – 10% of the original item price.
$3 is deducted from seller’s PayPal.

4. Final seller total is $25.83

For Buyers

1. Search by Category or keyword

2. Pick what you like and Click Buy

3. Purchase using Paypal or credit card

4. Enjoy your purchase!!

General Tips for successful sales and happy customers:

Sell items in good condition!! Ones that you would not hesitate to sell to a good friend.
Post great photos
Post a detailed description (list any minor flaws etc)
Post detailed measurements
Post accurate shipping fees (get them at PayPal Shipping Label | Create shipping label | PayPal US )
Ship promptly and send tracking numbers

Returns:

Please work with the Sellers to resolve any issues with item first
If you have purchased via Paypal, please use the Paypal dispute process
